Watch this Post with Commentary

In my last post I made and analogy that prophecy interpretation involves taking the Bible apart, verse-by-verse, and then putting it back together with a consistent interpretation. Any interpretation that fails to account for “all prophecy verses” should be questioned. Some people shared new verses and posed questions that I will address in this post as well as many of the common misconceptions about the end times.

One of the key things to remember is that most people have been taught a certain interpretation and timeline of events similar to the popular “Left Behind” series. People then confuse their interpretation of the scriptures with what the scriptures actually say. A false interpretation can cause someone to look for false signs and miss the true signs. So a lot of what I will cover here is unfulfilled or unaccounted for interpretations of prophecy.

Esther

In all of my prior interpretations I never addressed how the story of Esther fits in aside from the sequence of eclipses this year matches the sequence of eclipses at the time of Esther.

Esther was taken to King Xerxes in the royal residence in the 10th month, the month of Tebeth (cold, rain), in the 7th year of his reign. — Esther 2:1 6

This aligns perfectly with the rapture of the Bride taking us before the King in the 7th year (of Shmita cycle) on the 1st day of the 10th month.

Purim is the primary focus of the story of Esther, the date that the Jews “reverse the curse” and gain victory on the day they were to be slaughtered. Purim takes place on the 14th of the 12th month. I have not identified where this fits in to the prophetic timeline, but I would expect it to be toward the end of the Tribulation.

Where is the Antichrist?

Now concerning the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and our being gathered together to him, we ask you, brothers, not to be quickly shaken in mind or alarmed, either by a spirit or a spoken word, or a letter seeming to be from us, to the effect that the day of the Lord has come. 3Let no one deceive you in any way. For that day will not come, unless the DEPARTURE (rapture) comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction. — 2 Thessalonians 2

The coming of the lawless one is by the activity of Satan with all power and false signs and wonders, and with all wicked deception for those who are perishing, because they refused to love the truth and so be saved (raptured?). Therefore God sends them a strong delusion, so that they may believe what is false, in order that all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but had pleasure in unrighteousness. — 2 Thessalonians 2:9

The Antichrist is revealed after the rapture and he deceives those who are perishing (going through tribulation). Make sure that you take no pleasure in unrighteousness nor be counted among the lawless, because the anti-christ is the ruler of the lawless!

Where is the Temple?

who opposes and exalts himself against every so-called god or object of worship, so that he takes his seat in the temple (holy place) of God, proclaiming himself to be God. — 2 Thessalonians 2:4

  1. “temple”: used of the temple at Jerusalem, but only of the sacred edifice (or sanctuary) itself, consisting of the Holy place and the Holy of Holies (in classical Greek it is used of the sanctuary or cell of the temple, where the image of the god was placed which is distinguished from the whole enclosure)

The attack of October 7th was dubbed Aqsa Flood, which is the Arab name for the temple mount. The recent events in Syria by “rebels” that are expressing the same goal, to recapture the temple mount.

In a recent video I showed that the gentiles will trample upon Jerusalem for 42 months and linked it to Ezekiel 24, where the 10th day of the 10th month Jerusalem is laid siege to.

In the ninth year, in the tenth month, on the tenth day of the month, the word of the Lord came to me: 2“Son of man, write down the name of this day, this very day. The king of Babylon (Antichrist?) has laid siege to Jerusalem this very day. — Ezekiel 24:1–2

Putting it all together, after the fall of Babylon on the Atzeret on Hanukkah (December 17th) there is a week delay and on the 10th day of the 10th month (December 25th) the Antichrist captures Jerusalem and the Holy Place (Temple Mount) and they trample it for 42 months ending with the Desolation of the Abomination (Dome of the Rock) when Jerusalem becomes uninhabited as the Jews flee to the wilderness and it is no longer trampled by the nations.

There is no need or possibility for a new temple, because, if my interpretation is correct, the Jews will not be in Jerusalem for 42 months and then will be in the wilderness for 42 months.

If America falls, why would the Arab world tolerate Israel or even negotiate a peace treaty? There is a good chance Israel would throw a few nukes around taking out Damascus and parts of Iran during the Day of the Lord. The resulting chaos introduces too many variables to predict how Jerusalem’s capture and ultimate destruction would be fulfilled. I am only speculating about one way to fufill the 42 months. It is possible that the Arab’s would allow a temple in exchange for Israel not nuking Jerusalem after the Arabs recapture it. Then, 3.5 years later what is left of Israel is desperate and takes out the Abomination before fleeing into the wilderness.

What about the Abomination of Desolation?

Many teach that the Abomination of Desolation will be some kind of Idol set up in a 3rd temple. This would follow the pattern of Hanukkah and the Maccabees where they identified an “abomination (pig) of desolation (burt)” as the sacrifice of a pig on the alter.

A careful study of the Grammar of Daniel and Matthew shows that from the time the sacrifices were (past tense from Daniel) taken away and going to the setting of of an abomination that will be made desolate shall be 1290 days (years)… blessed is He that waits and comes to 1335 years (the desolation of the abomination). The Dome of the Rock exactly to the year matches these counts. Therefore, the abomination has already been set up! We wait only for its desolation just before Israel flees into the wilderness on her 80th Birthday, the Atzeret of Second Passover 2028.

At the fall of the Abomination there is a severe earthquake (shaking) that destroys 10% of the city and kills 7000 people. The Two Witnesses will be killed in Jerusalem around this time.

Where is the Covenant with the Many?

There are so many candidates for the “Covenant with the Many” with COP29 and the UN 7 Year “Pact for the Future”, the Abraham Accords. The issue is that many people expect this to be a peace treaty with Israel that allows them to build the temple. This expectation is conjecture and not directly spelled out in scripture. As I have already demonstrated, it does not seem plausible that there would be a temple given the 42 months of gentiles trampling Jerusalem and the Temple Mount.

“And he (Messiah or Antichrist?) shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease” — Daniel 9:27

If you look at the Hebrew “a week and midst of the week” could also be translated as “a week of 1.5 weeks” or 7x10.5 or 73.5 years. If you understand the “he” to be Messiah, then the covenant that is strengthened is the New Covenant it started to be strengthened with the conception of John and ended with the Destruction of the 2nd Temple, exactly 73.5 years apart. Remember, the temple was destroyed because of “overspreading abominations”.

and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate. — Daniel 9:27

The end of this translation always seemed awkward to me, so I dug into the Hebrew Strongs and concluded it could also be rendered:

“even until the end (of the age) and the chosen shall be gathered from the desolated”.

With this translation it is clear that the temple will not be rebuilt even until the end with the rapture and the fall of Babylon.

All of that said, if there were to be a temple, it is entirely possible that we must reconsider the definition of “Israel” and “The Nations”. If “Israel” is interpreted as the lost northern tribes who are raptured, and “the Nations / ethnos” are those who remain, then perhaps ethnos will build a temple and not be true Israel.

Where is the Peace and Safety?

It occurred to me recently that most watchmen have declared “rapture season” to be over. A few are holding out for Hanukkah. Every watchman that has pushed their interpretation until 2025 is implicitly saying “Peace and Safety” for now because the “sudden destruction” and “rapture” are linked. Israel just signed a cease fire…. as soon as Trump was elected all of the media started talking like he would bring peace to Russia and Israel conflicts. The Christmas Season is the Season of “Love, Joy, and Peace”.

Immediately After the Tribulation of Those Days

“Immediately after the distress of those days “’the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light; the stars will fall from the sky, and the heavenly bodies will be shaken.’ — Mat 24

“The Tribulation” has become a theological term, like “The Rapture” and “The Trinity” which can distort the intent. You will not find the phrase “Trinity” in the bible. We now associate the phrase “The Tribulation” with “7 year period”; however, before that modern term gained that meaning it simply means “pressure”, “distress”, and therefore I believe it could refer to The Fall of Babylon in a Single Hour. We can instead date this according to the skies being darkened and the great shaking. Why in the world would all of that calamity happen “after the 7 years”? It would be more than a 7 year tribulation if at the very end the sky is being darkened.

Think of it like, “Immediately after the distress of 9/11 there was a great fire that darkened the skies and a war”. The distress is the “proximate cause” of the 1260 days of the sun being clothed in sackcloth (nuclear winter). Everyone would associate all of the distress after the initial cause as mere “fallout” of the initiating event.

So, immediately after the sudden destruction the sky will be darkened…

The sun shall be turned into darkness, And the moon into blood, Before the coming of the great and awesome day of the LORD. And it shall come to pass That whoever calls on the name of the LORD Shall be saved. — Joel 2

This “before” can be understood as “in the presence of”. This is the same event talked about in Matthew 24.

Where is Elijah?

Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before (in the presence of) the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD: 6And he will turn the hearts of fathers to their children and the hearts of children to their fathers, lest I come and strike the land with a decree of utter destruction.” — Malachi 4

Elijah could be one of the two witnesses, as seen in the Transfiguration, and he would appear 1260 days before the midpoint. However, this verse can also be counted as fulfilled in John the Baptist.

And there appeared to him an angel of the Lord standing on the right side of the altar of incense. 12And Zechariah was troubled when he saw him, and fear fell upon him. 13But the angel said to him, “Do not be afraid, Zechariah, for your prayer has been heard, and your wife Elizabeth will bear you a son, and you shall call his name John. 14And you will have joy and gladness, and many will rejoice at his birth, 15for he will be great before the Lord. And he must not drink wine or strong drink, and he will be filled with the Holy Spirit, even from his mother’s womb. 16And he will turn many of the children of Israel to the Lord their God, 17and he will go before him in the spirit and power of Elijah, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just, to make ready for the Lord a people prepared.” — Luke 1:11

For all the Prophets and the Law prophesied until John, and if you are willing to accept it, he is Elijah who is to come. — Jesus, Mathew 11:13–14

Where is the Great Falling Away?

If you don’t think there has been a great falling away, then perhaps you are among those who has fallen from The Way. This expectation comes from what I believe to be a mistranslation of 2 Thes 2.

For that day will not come, unless the DEPARTURE (rapture) comes first, and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction. — 2 Thessalonians 2
