We track feast days because they are YHVH’s appointed times and knowing his appointed times helps us synchronize our earthly lives with the heavenly cycles. Our feast days on earth are a shadow of the heavenly cycles. The next Appointed time is just 5 days away.

When it comes to looking for the Rapture and interpreting His signs in the sun, moon, and stars we must know the proper calendar or we will be out of sync. I do not believe it is a salvation issue, but those who love Him will seek to understand His times just like a woman who loves her husband will seek to understand the things important to him.

The Essenes through the Dead Sea Scrolls reveal that there are 3 first fruits festivals, Wheat, Wine, and Oil; however, many don’t know how to find these feasts in the traditional scriptures.ble and on our Modern calendars and what may be the true purpose of the Feast of Trumpets.

Preconceived Notions

the Gentiles shall come unto thee from the ends of the earth, and shall say, Surely our fathers have inherited lies, vanity, and things wherein there is no profit. — Jeremiah 16:19

If you are currently assuming that our fathers, whether of Christian or Jewish tradition, had the proper calendar then you are making a big bet that you haven’t inherited lies as Jeremiah prophecies. It is certainly worth taking a humble approach and testing all of the evidence before dismissing something that reaches a different conclusion from tradition. Who knows what blessings you could be missing.

I wouldn’t be doing this video if I thought most people were keeping the proper Pentecost and many are looking toward Pentecost as a “high watch date” for the Rapture. It would probably help everyone to have a clear understanding of the true date of Pentecost. While I do not believe the rapture will occur on Pentecost I would keep my eye out for interesting world events occurring around that time.

Let’s jump straight into the scripture:

And ye shall count unto you from the morrow after the sabbath, from the day that ye brought the sheaf of the wave offering (first fruits); seven sabbaths shall be complete: Even unto the morrow after the seventh sabbath shall ye number fifty days; and ye shall offer a new meat offering unto YHVH. — Lev 23:15–16

So in order to find Pentecost we must find First Fruits.

Finding First Fruits

And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, Speak to the children of Israel, and thou shalt say to them, When ye shall enter into the land which I give you, and reap the harvest of it, then shall ye bring a sheaf, the first-fruits of your harvest, to the priest; and he shall lift up the sheaf before the Lord, to be accepted for you. On the (to)morrow of the first day (of Unleavened Bread) the priest shall lift it up. And ye shall offer on the day on which ye bring the sheaf, a lamb without blemish of a year old for a whole-burnt-offering to the Lord. And its meat-offering two tenth portions of fine flour mingled with oil: it is a sacrifice to the Lord, a smell of sweet savour to the Lord, and its drink-offering the fourth part of a hin of wine. And ye shall not eat bread, or the new parched corn, until this same day, until ye offer the sacrifices to your God: it is a perpetual statute throughout your generations in all your dwellings. — Leviticus 23 :9–14 Septuagint

Passover to First Fruits

This text makes it clear that First Fruits is the 2nd day of Unleavened Bread or the 16th of the 1st month. This is the same day that Yeshua rose to be our first fruits. Think about this for a second, if Yahshua was our first Fruits and First fruits is on the 2nd day of Unleavened Bread, then how exactly can the cross be on any day other than Friday if the continuously weekly Saturday “Sabbath” is the true Sabbath?

But now is Christ risen from the dead, and become the first fruits of them that slept. — 1 Co 15:20

And the children of Israel encamped in Gilgal, and kept the passover on the 14th day of the month at even in the plains of Jericho. And they did eat of the old corn of the land on the morrow after the passover (1st day of Unleavened Bread), unleavened cakes, and parched corn in the selfsame day. And the manna ceased on the morrow after they had eaten of the old corn of the land; neither had the children of Israel manna any more; but they did eat of the fruit of the land of Canaan that year. — Joshua 5:10–12

So they ate of the fruit of the land (that year) on the 16th of the month, the same date the manna ended. Note that the manna began on the 16th of the 2nd month after leaving Egypt.

In case there is any doubt, here is what Josephus says in Antiquities of the Jews:

But on the second day of unleavened bread, which is the 16th day of the month, they first partake of the fruits of the earth, for before that day they do not touch them. — Josephus

Counting 7 Complete Sabbaths

I previously made the case the April 8th, 2024 was the true Passover and the 14th day of the 1st month. This is based upon using the Full Moon to start the month instead of the Sliver Moon. Whether you agree with me about the Full Moon or not, the only thing that impacts is conversion to Gregorian dates this year. I believe the overall interpretation of scripture remains valid in terms of Hebraic dates.

That means 1st Fruits is April 10th, 2024 and is the first day we are to start counting.

The first thing you will notice is that April 10th is a Wednesday. If we add 49 days we will arrive at another Wednesday, which is obviously not anywhere near the traditional Saturday Sabbath.

Adding 49 days takes us to Wednesday June 29th as “Pentecost”, but June 29th isn’t a Saturday Sabbath nor is it a Lunar Sabbath, falling on the 6th day of the 3rd month. So counting 7 complete Sabbaths must mean something different. Not counting New Moon days, the 7th complete Sabbath after Passover can be found using Hebrew month/day notation.

7 complete Sabbaths to May 31

June 1st is the day after the 7th complete Sabbath which is a total of 52 days from First Fruits. This is the date of Shavuot when the first fruits of wheat are offered.

Shavuot is June 1st, 9th day of 3rd Month

This is normally connected to the 10 commandments; so lets check this history from Exodus compares to our calculated date of Shavuot. The first major difference in my understanding comes with the interpretation of Exodus 19:1 where most translators assume the 1st day of the month, but it wouldn’t make sense for them to travel on the New Moon day of rest, therefore I understand “same day” to mean “same number” or 3rd day of 3rd month. Then we are told they would have two days to wash and on the 3rd day He would appear and speak the 10 commandments and the people agreed.

A comparison can be made to Yahusha (Jesus) washing disciples feet, then offering the last supper as a marriage proposal which those who ate the bread and drank the wine accepted. The next day was the cross, and then the Feast of Unleavened bread. This mirrors exodus with the Altar followed by a feast. Lastly, Shavuot falls on the Parallel to First Fruits and happens to be the first Fruits of Wheat!

With this I think we can confirm a second witness that we calculated 7 complete Sabbaths to Shavuot properly.

Counting 50 Days

And ye shall count unto you from the morrow after the sabbath, from the day that ye brought the sheaf of the wave offering (first fruits); seven sabbaths shall be complete: Even unto the morrow after the seventh sabbath shall ye number fifty days; and ye shall offer a new meat offering unto YHVH. — Lev 23:15–16

With this understanding that traditional “misinterpretation” that 50 days is a “Hebraic parallelism” doesn’t work. It doesn’t work because there are 52 days when counting complete Sabbaths on a Lunar Sabbath calendar. Instead, this text reads to me that we should count 50 days from the day after the 7th Sabbath (Shavuot) and that will place us on New Moon day on the 1st day of the 5th month. In fact, I believe following these instructions will always place you on the 1st day of the 5th month.

Pentecost is July 22, 2024

This timing is consistent with the grape harvest. According to Google

Israel Grape Harvest starts in Late July

And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place… Others mocking said, These men are full of new wine. — Acts 2:1,13

Feast of Trumpets

From this date there are 8 complete Sabbaths or 57 days until Feast of Trumpets on September 18th. The word “Psalm” is recorded 57 times and is words set to music. Appropriate because Feast of Trumpets is also understood as a day of “blowing, shouting, praising, or even singing”. 8 is the number of new beginning and Feast of Trumpets is also the start of the “civil year”.

Feast of Trumpets is September 18th, 2024

Could Feast of Trumpets actually be the Feast of New Oil?

Is Feast of Trumpets really First Fruits of New Oil?

In the time of the Scriptures anointing oil would customarily be held within animal horns. Olive oil isn’t typically ready to be harvested until October which would make Feast of Trumpets the earliest practical date for a first fruits of New Oil.

And in the seventh month, on the first day of the month, ye shall have an holy convocation; ye shall do no servile work: it is a day of blowing the trumpets (ram’s horn) unto you. — Numbers 29:1

Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed (with oil) the servants of our God in their foreheads. Revelation 7:3

I think it is entirely possible that on Feast of Trumpets is when the 144,000 will be sealed using oil before the Four Horsemen start the Nuclear war.

See thou hurt not the oil (144k on trumpets?) and the wine (holy spirit on pentecost). — Revelation 6:6

Seems like a pretty solid case for Pre-tribulation rapture if the horsemen bring nukes but are not to hurt those with the Holy Spirit.

“9th of Av”

Those who follow Dr. Barry Awe know that he is a “big fan” of a 9th of Av rapture. It would probably be helpful to know when this date is because bad things tend to happen around this date, starting with the bad report of the Spies.

I believe the true “9th of Av” is actually on the 10th of Av as recorded in Jeremiah which also happens to be 40 days after the New Moon on the 1st day of the 3rd month. It just makes sense to me that Moses would send them out on the start of a month. It is only by Jewish tradition that the date of the 9th of Av has been adopted as a compromise between Kings and Jeremiah. So I view “9th of Av” as a label that actually refers to the “10th day of the 5th month”.

July 31st, 2024 is the “9th of Av”

Now in the fifth month, in the tenth day of the month, which was the nineteenth year of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, came Nebuzaradan, captain of the guard, which served the king of Babylon, into Jerusalem And burned the house of YHVH. — Jeremiah 52:12

Feast of Weeks / Shavuot

Seven weeks shalt thou number unto thee: begin to number the seven weeks (sabbaths) from such time as thou Begin to put the sickle to the corn (first fruits). — Deu 16:9

Summary

The dates most people are looking for Shavuot, Pentecost, 9th of Av, etc are incompatible with scripture in multiple ways. Starting with the Saturday Sabbath that corrupts the start of the count causing it to completely miss the parallel to Exodus. The Jews counting 49 days from Passover which and places it on the 7th of the 3rd month which also is out of alignment with Exodus.
