Day of Atonement 2024
According to the Biblical calendar, which I understand as starting the month on the Full Moon, September 26th, marks the start of the Day of Atonement fasting and afflicting. It goes until the evening of September 27th.
This Day of Atonement may be one of the most significant in history as it not only announces a Jubilee, but the 70th Jubilee and the last day of Atonement in Jeremiah’s 70 “years” which an angel explained to Daniel as 70 x “7s” or 70 x “a multiple of 7 greater than 2” or a “complete cycle of 7s” which would be 7x7 or a Jubilee.
Declare the Jubilee
‘And you shall count seven sabbaths of years for yourself, seven times seven years; and the time of the seven sabbaths of years shall be to you forty-nine years. Then you shall cause the trumpet of the Jubilee to sound on the tenth day of the seventh month; on the Day of Atonement you shall make the trumpet to sound throughout all your land. And you shall consecrate (declare and set apart) the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout all the land to all its inhabitants. It shall be a Jubilee for you; and each of you shall return to his possession, and each of you shall return to his family.
In 29 AD Yeshua went into Nazareth and proclaimed the Acceptable Year of YHUH which is done every 7th year… but he stopped mid sentence. I believe this is the year that he completes the chapter.
Isaiah 61
The Spirit of the Lord YHUH is on Me,
because YHUH has anointed Me
to preach good news to the poor.
He has sent Me to bind up the brokenhearted,
to proclaim liberty to the captives and freedom to the prisoners,
to proclaim the year of the YHUH’s favor (to proclaim the acceptable year of the YHUH ; cited in Luke 4:19)and the day of our God’s vengeance,
Pandora and Spotify Proclamation
I have produced a radio Ad for Pandora and Spotify that will proclaim the Jubilee across all of the United States on the Day of Atonement such that each listener should hear it one time. They tell me this is about 17 million radio plays. This Ad reads most of what Yeshua read from Isaiah 61 on the Day of Atonement in Nazareth in 29 AD but continues through declaring the Day of Vengeance. I had to trim some of the verse to fit in the Ad slot and I amended it by added mention of the Jubilee as well so the listener would have context. Let me know if you hear the Proclamation!
This Ad is my attempt to obey the command to proclaim the Jubilee and consecrate the 50th year. Everyone should do their part to get the word out.
Freedom from Slavery to Sin
We are all captives and slaves to sin, and at the rapture we are set free from sin when we are cut free from our flesh on the 8th day of Tabernacles, October 9th, 2024.
Jesus answered them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, whoever commits sin is a slave of sin.” — John 8:34
If a fellow Hebrew, a man or a woman, is sold (as a slave) to you and serves you six years, then in the seventh year you must set him free….Remember that you were slaves in the land of Egypt, and the LORD your God redeemed you; that is why I am giving you this command today. — Deuteronomy 15:12,15
Forgive Debts
At the end of every seven years (on the Day of Atonement) you must cancel debts (forgive sins). This is the manner of remission: Every creditor shall cancel what he has loaned to his neighbor. He is not to collect anything from his neighbor or brother, because the LORD’s time of release has been proclaimed. You may collect something from a foreigner, but you must forgive whatever your brother owes you. — Deuteronomy 15
“For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.” — Matthew 6:14–15
According to Yeshua, Forgiving others is not optional if you wish to be forgiven! And if you are not forgiven you are not saved.
This shall be a statute forever for you: In the seventh month, on the tenth day of the month, you shall afflict your souls, and do no work at all, whether a native of your own country or a stranger who dwells among you. For on that day the priest (Yeshua) shall make atonement for you, to cleanse you, that you may be clean from all your sins before the Lord
— Leviticus 16:29For whatsoever soul it be that shall not be afflicted in that same day, he shall be cut off from among his people….It shall be to you a sabbath of solemn rest, and you shall afflict your souls; on the ninth day of the month at evening, from evening to evening, you shall celebrate your sabbath.”

If you are pregnant or have health conditions then I suggest you honor the spirit of afflicting your soul by eating the minimal bland and unpalatable food necessary to regulate your body. Do not blow off the day simply because you have an excuse.
When you obey these commands with all of your heart, mind, and soul it is an expression of love and gratitude. If you have the ability to obey, but choose not to, one must ask why? If your spouse asked you to fast to support them, would you do it? If your doctor asked you to fast for preventative colonoscopy checkup would you do it? Would you fast for charity to support the hungry? How much more should we fast if YHUH asks us to on the day our High Priest makes atonement for our sins?
Some may object that this only applies to the Jews.
There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise. — Galatians 3:28
The same law shall apply to the native as to the stranger who resides among you. — Exodus 12:49
You will say, then, “Branches were broken off, that I might be grafted in.” Rightly so: They were broken off by the unbelief, but you stand by faith. Do not be high minded, but be afraid. For if God did not at all spare the natural branches, neither will He spare you… — Romans 11:19–21
For just as you once were disobedient to God, but now have been shown mercy by the disobedience of these (Jews). — Romans 11:20
You can see that Paul compares “unbelief” to “disobedience”. If you believe then you obey because the law was given for our benefit and there are blessings attached to keeping it.
Others may say that this part of the law has been done away with, but even Yeshua assumed that we would fast, and the under the law the Day of Atonement is the only required fast.
“Moreover, when (not if) you fast, do not be like the hypocrites, with a sad countenance. For they disfigure their faces that they may appear to men to be fasting. Assuredly, I say to you, they have their reward. But you, when you fast, anoint your head and wash your face, so that you do not appear to men to be fasting, but to your Father who is in the secret place; and your Father who sees in secret will reward you openly. — Matthew 6:16
Furthermore, the Day of Atonement was a statute decreed forever! It is YHUH’s appointed time and a day of Judgment.
Rapture and the Jubilee
Isaiah 61

to comfort all who mourn, to console the mourners in Zion — to give them a crown of beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, and a garment of praise for a spirit of despair. So they will be called oaks of righteousness, the planting of YHUH, that He may be glorified.

But you will be called the priests of YHUH; they will speak of you as ministers of our God; you will feed on the wealth of nations, and you will boast in their riches. Instead of shame, My people will have a double portion, and instead of humiliation, they will rejoice in their share; and so they will inherit a double portion in their land, and everlasting joy will be theirs.For I, YHUH, love justice; I hate robbery and iniquity;
in My faithfulness I will give them their recompense
and make an everlasting covenant with them.Their descendants will be known among the nations, and their offspring among the peoples. All who see them will acknowledge that they are a people YHUH has blessed.
I will rejoice greatly in YHUH, my soul will exult in my God;
for He has clothed me with garments of salvation (white robes, resurrection)
and wrapped me in a robe of righteousness,as a bridegroom wears a priestly headdress,
as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.For as the earth brings forth its growth (harvest),
and as a garden enables seed to spring up, so the Lord YHUH will cause righteousness and praise to spring up (rapture) before all the nations.
The Chosen Stone and His Chosen People — 1 Peter 2
Coming to Him as to a living stone, rejected indeed by men, but chosen by God and precious, you also, as living stones, are being built up a spiritual house, a holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. Therefore it is also contained in the Scripture,
“Behold, I lay in Zion
A chief cornerstone, elect, precious,
And he who believes on Him will by no means be put to shame.”
Therefore, to you who believe, He is precious; but to those who are disobedient,
“The stone which the builders rejected
Has become the chief cornerstone,”
and
“A stone of stumbling
And a rock of offense.”
They stumble, being disobedient to the word (the law), to which they also were appointed.
But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; who once were not a people but are now the people of God, who had not obtained mercy but now have obtained mercy.
And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth: And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God. — Deuteronomy 28
To Him who loved us and washed us from our sins in His own blood, and has made us kings and priests to His God and Father. — Revelation 1:5
She gave birth to a male child, one who is to rule all the nations with a rod of iron, but her child was caught up (raptured) to God and to his throne.
— Revelation 12:5
The male child is those who are raptured and rule all of the Nations under Yeshua. Isaiah 66 clearly establishes that this represents a nation being born at once.
Before she travailed, she brought forth; before her pain came, she was delivered of a male child.
Who hath heard such a thing? who hath seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? or shall a nation be born at once? for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children. — Isaiah 66:7–8
Blessings for Obeying
1“When all these things come upon you — the blessings and curses I have set before you — and you call them to mind in all the nations to which the LORD your God has banished you, 2and when you and your children return to the LORD your God and obey His voice with all your heart and all your soul according to everything I am giving you today, 3then He will restore you from captivity (Jubilee!) and have compassion on you and gather you from all the nations to which the LORD your God has scattered you. Even if you have been banished to the farthest horizon, He will gather you and return you from there.
5And the LORD your God will bring you into the land your fathers possessed, and you will take possession of it. He will cause you to prosper and multiply more than your fathers. 6The LORD your God will circumcise your hearts and the hearts of your descendants, and you will love Him with all your heart and with all your soul, so that you may live.
7Then the LORD your God will put all these curses upon your enemies who hate you and persecute you. 8And you will again obey the voice of the LORD and follow all His commandments I am giving you today. 9So the LORD your God will make you abound in all the work of your hands and in the fruit of your womb, the offspring of your livestock, and the produce of your land. Indeed, the LORD will again delight in your goodness, as He delighted in that of your fathers, 10if you obey the LORD your God by keeping His commandments and statutes that are written in this Book of the Law, and if you turn to Him with all your heart and with all your soul.
The Choice of Life or Death
11For this commandment I give you today is not too difficult for you or beyond your reach. 12It is not in heaven, that you should need to ask, ‘Who will ascend into heavend to get it for us and proclaim it, that we may obey it?’ 13And it is not beyond the sea, that you should need to ask, ‘Who will cross the seae to get it for us and proclaim it, that we may obey it?’ 14But the word is very near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart,f so that you may obey it.
15See, I have set before you today life and goodness, as well as death and disaster. 16For I am commanding you today to love the LORD your God, to walk in His ways, and to keep His commandments, statutes, and ordinances, so that you may live and increase, and the LORD your God may bless you in the land that you are entering to possess.
17But if your heart turns away and you do not listen, but are drawn away to bow down to other gods and worship them, 18I declare to you today that you will surely perish; you shall not prolong your days in the land that you are crossing the Jordan to possess.
19I call heaven and earth as witnesses against you today that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing. Therefore choose life, so that you and your descendants may live, 20and that you may love the LORD your God, obey Him, and hold fast to Him. For He is your life, and He will prolong your life in the land that the LORD swore to give to your fathers, to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.”
